Well sucks to be you....Grand Theft Auto Vice City was also another hit in my book. I still prefer GTA1 an GTA2 over GTA3, I just couldn't get into GTA3, my kill count is up close to 15,000 and my missions completed is like next tnone, I think I'm only in the second city I only find that game good to take your frustration out on, by curb stompin, and going on a driving rampage, other than that the missions are tedious, and are all reused just put in different scenerios, and leaves you frustrated and bored, the game really left me no insentive to really beat it

GTA3 is very complex and if you cannot appreciate that, then it is truly your lost. This is how I approched it, "New features, better CONTROL, more realistic, more complex, something new, something unheard of!" IF you are finding it tedious then obviuolsy it was too difficult for you. I've finished the game twice and have finished the missions plus most of the side missions however due to a really lame memmory card (non-Sony) my saved games disappear after some time....

Well I'm simply an RPG'er, Final Fantasy an such, so GTA3 really didn't float my boat, u don't have to like a game, everyone has their own tastes, an there's no sense convincing some else wise, only good ther eis to do is share your opinion an there will be ppl who relate to both sides of the arguement ;D

Exactly...
most RPGer could never like GTA3 becuase they were so used to having to be told every thing...How many RPGs have you played and have not been told what to do and where you live and the things that normal people know about them selves....

The things i have come to notice about RPGs.....
1: The hero alwasy has to be told where he or she is from and his or her own life story...
2: The hero always follows a set course to his or her objs=ective. THere is very little room for change.
3: RPG's have no strategy. There is usually very few ways to get htings done.
4: Everything is measured in points of some sort.
5: No matter how many times you kill the "Imp" they always return to haunt you...

Try Anachronox, it does lead u threw the story, but u do have some freedom, but most of them dam boss battles leave you planning 5 steps ahead, cuz you gotta gigure out what to hit when, and when to attack, and to keep a healthy stock of healing items an magic ;D

That's another thing, you play mroe as a store manager than anything else...the player spend most of his or her time looking through the items and taking inventory..

Anachronox i'll use once again for an example, is that i never found myself really concerning myself with my inventory, ofr the exception for healing items, same thing with silver, silver was very linear though, but took strategy to keep you and your party alive ;D
