Hey everybody! I purchased an X-75 last year. A few months later, I bought a ink refill kit. I refilled and the printer does not print in black any more. Any help?

Find then, Ill have to get a new cartridge The trick is to fill the empty cartridge with acetone or isopropal (forget which is the best) immediatly after the ink runs out. Store it in a sealed container like that until you get refill ink. Sometimes old catridges can be cleaned this way also. Careful acetone is nasty on the skin and very flammable. Use wisdom and all will be ok. lol

Good question. I will have to find a link that explains this. I have never done this, but have run into this advice several times. I just read something lately that says its good to rinse the an empty cartridge with isopropal and run it through the printer to clean the jets. Anyway, the info on this is out there...
