That link is bad...you'll have to use the product number the long number that starts with NE--------------- and copy the link in the address bar for us to get to it.

Biostar motherboards are very decent. Go for it... I would advise that you go for a built by ATI video crd but that card will serve its purpose. And also, don;t you want to go DDR...that motherboard is SDR only...if you want a combo baord so you can upgrade the type of ram later... check out the MSI KM2M Combo-L at Newegg. Sorry for the spelling, I'm kinda tired tonight...

www.biostar.com.tw/products/mainboard/socket_a/m7viw/index.php3?name=M7VIWThis the one? Cool lookin board. Seems like a decent price for an O/Cable board, HW monitoring, usb 2.0. Too bad..no raid, but it is sub-$50 after all. AMD the chipset on that one ..thumbs up or down? Not sure what that dingle-berry is...oh! Groovy..its a CNR slot You would have to get a CNR modem just because!

Well, it isn't an AMD chipset. It is actually VIA for AMD. On that page, they say it can effectively use pc2100 but that isn't ddr333...but it is a nice one overall.

I probably understand your financial situation right now better than any on else on this forum ( no offense to anyone) because i know your persoanlly but remember this...every little bit helps. Don't buy that Snapple if the water is cheaper...you know that sort of thing. and before you know it, you may have enough to buy that motherboard and still use all of your other parts and it is stilla step in the right direction, you then sell that old motherboard and buy another part....step by step....
I personally do not upgrade all at once, I buy when I can and save when I cannot.

Hey I'm not offended. I totally agree, I'm a big saver, I have not tasted snapple in the longest, I compare the prices of the water........ I was not really planning to upgrade all at once any way, just get the stuff, that would make the biggest noticable difference to what I am doing or thinking about doing. I am running the PCCHIPS 810 LMR I personally do not upgrade all at once, I buy when I can and save when I cannot.
